Dreams and decision making.
Deirdre Barrett, PhD

This study indicates that people who focus on a specific decision-making problem as they fall asleep, dream about a solution to that problem within a matter of a week or so. Because our brains are less likely to be distracted as we’re in the deep-dreaming sleep stage, we will dream about the solution to our problem. The idea is, we already know the answer, somewhere, but just can’t reach the conclusion we need until our brain relaxes enough to “dream up” the solution. Get out a pad of paper and write down one decision you need to make or problem you need to solve. Concentrate on one problem at a time.

Don will go to sleep with a problem/challenge and usually he will get the solution the next morning. It works for him; and normally this is the only time he dreams.
For the Christian decisions should be based on scripture and so we find that we must know/memorize God's Word. Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee .If God's Word is hidden in our hearts God will bring it to our remembrance when we seek His Will.

  1. What an interesting theory. I'll have to try that.
My orange Abutilon isn't blooming at the moment, but it's sending up new growth from the top of the plant. I might try making cuttings from them...only thing is, the leaves aren't variegated. I wonder if they'll stay that way or revert back. I guess the only way to find out is to try. I need to chop them off regardless. The plant is as tall as I am now! Sure would love to send you some cuttings if they take (when the weather warms up, of course). Wonder if they'd survive.
