Buffalo Wings - Super Bowl Night?

2 packages (1 lb each) chicken drummettes
                                                                                       
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup red pepper sauce
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

In deep fryer or 3-quart heavy saucepan, heat oil to 375°F.

Fry chicken in batches (to avoid over crowding) about 10 minutes each or until brown and no longer pink in center. Drain on paper towels.

Meanwhile, in 1-quart saucepan combine butter, pepper sauce, black pepper and garlic powder; cook over medium-high heat, 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted and mixture is blended.

Real Buffalo wings are fried and are not coated with flour at all. They are just fried as is and covered in sauce.  Always use Franks Hot Sauce and some like to put in a touch of vinegar.

1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch saladdressing

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese orshredded mozzarella cheese *Check the specialty cheese near the deli at Kroger... they mark cheese down all the time in that area



1. HEAT oven to 350°F. Place cream cheese into deep baking dish. Stir until smooth.
2. MIX in salad dressing, Frank's RedHot Sauce and cheese.
3. BAKE 20 min. or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish as desired. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
